How fees work
What you pay depends on how you pay. Each answer is here in plain words, and the front desk goes over yours before your first visit.
Insurance we work with
We bill several kinds of plans. Before your first visit we tell you whether we are in network with yours. The list is by type of plan, not by company, and the front desk checks your card.
Most PPO plans
Medicare
Medicaid
Workers' compensation
Auto injury coverage
If you pay yourself
If you have no insurance, or would rather not use it, we tell you what a visit costs before you book and you pay on the day. We do not bill any plan for that visit. If cost worries you, ask the front desk what options there are.
An estimate in advance
If you pay without insurance, we give you a written good faith estimate before your first visit: what we expect it to cost and what it includes. This is your right under federal law, and you can ask for it any time. If the final bill is $400 or more above the estimate, you can dispute it.
Checking your benefits
The front desk checks your benefits and calls you, or writes on WhatsApp, with what they find before your first visit. Your plan decides what it pays: your copay, deductible and coinsurance are set by your plan. The form on this site asks only for your name, phone and email.
What the first visit includes
The first visit takes about an hour with a licensed physical therapist. They listen, examine you, explain what they find in the language you choose and agree on a plan with you. They also explain the risks and the choices. How many visits you need is not decided that day.
Questions about paying
Does my plan cover this, and do you take Medicare?
We bill several kinds of plans, including most PPO plans, Medicare, Medicaid, workers' compensation and auto injury coverage. Your plan decides what it pays. We check your benefits and tell you before your first visit.
What if I pay myself?
We give you a written estimate before your first visit, and you pay for each visit on the day. If your plan may reimburse you, we give you a detailed receipt to send in. Your plan decides whether it pays.
Do you see work or auto injuries?
Yes. If you were hurt in a crash or at work, get emergency care first if you need it. Tell us who your adjuster is: your state decides who may direct your care. We explain how your bills are handled before you start.
Want to know what you would pay?
Call or message us on WhatsApp, with or without your insurance card, and we explain how it would work for you.
